As a helm plugin

On helm 4, import the signing key first. helm 3 does not check signatures.

The second line is not redundant: helm cannot read GnuPG’s keybox format, so it needs a legacy export. --verify=false skips the check instead. To upgrade, run helm plugin uninstall helmviz first (viz if you are on 1.0.0), because helm plugin update does not work on a plugin installed from a URL.

There is no plugin archive for Windows. Use the standalone binary below.

As a standalone binary

Check it against SHA256SUMS. The archive holds one directory with the binary, its LICENSE and the README.

In CI

Store the key as a secret named HELMVIZ_LICENSE, and have the pipeline ask the API for its own links rather than pasting these, which expire. The README that ships with helm-viz has the workflow step.
